To avoid any disappointment, customers must ensure that they have read through the terms and conditions carefully before placing an order.

Information and product description :

We aim to provide as much information as possible concerning the items listed on milifiddlershamlet.co.uk
however if a customer is unsure that information is not specific enough or do not understand the information provided then please email us at milifiddlershamlet@hotmail.com to ask any further questions that you may be unsure about before placing an order .

milifiddlershamlet.co.uk is a listing of items that are all hand made and bespoke using reclaimed materials.

Our items are not factory produced and we make each individual item one at a time and pride ourselves with a high standard of finish.
We are very passionate about the end result of our hand made products.

Customers should take into consideration that we use as much reclaimed material as possible which is the reason our items are unique and no two items will ever be the same.
We give a product description of all of our items and describe as much as we can therefore please read through the product listing and take note of the full description and please understand that each hand crafted item is made using reclaimed materials therefore natural markings and blemishes may well be present and possibly other superficial wear highlighting its age which is not a fault but makes the product rustic and unique .

Leather items may have a variation in colour and markings as well as grain as every batch of hide is different.

Resin items may have some slight imperfections as during the curing process a few trapped small bubbles may appear caused by adding items like gun shots and feathers to the resin, however this does not impact on the beauty of the finished item and full description is listed with our resin collection.

All measurements should be treated as approximate only.

Product lead time :

Please email us before you place your order to find out how long it will take to make your chosen item however we generally give a rough lead time with all our product descriptions.

As explained under product description and information we handmake every product one by one therefore depending on the specific product and our back log of orders, timescales may differ, and although we aim to be as realistic as possible this may still lead to a longer wait than predicted.
We will not rush any items through to get them out in a hurry and compromise our attention to the finishing of an item as we pride ourselves to complete each item with a high standard of finish.

We do not keep a vast amount of materials like reclaimed oak or resin or even hide which we have to buy in therefore lead times are sometimes determined by how long we have to wait for our materials.

Please message us for a lead time before making your purchase to find out how long your item is going to take to be made and sent out to you to avoid disappointment, however we will always do our upmost to work with you and the date that you need your item delivered by within reason therefore if you have a timescale you need your item for then please let us know and we will do our best to achieve this and will always keep you up to date by phone or email.

Bespoke orders :

We will not except a refund on any bespoke order made to your requirements unless the item is damaged or faulty.

Order confirmation :

Once your payment has been authorised we will send an order confirmation to the email address you have provided us with and you will be notified if there are any delays.

If there are any problems with your order or we do not readily have available the materials to make your order we will contact you by telephone or email to advise you and at this point you can decide whether to cancel your order.

Contract / Order cancellation :

You are entitled to cancel a non bespoke item provided you exercise your right no longer than 7 working days after the day on which you receive your item/s and we will issue a refund.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your contract/order prior to order dispatch, please contact us by email milifiddlershamlet@hotmail.com

We will inform you the day that your goods are being dispatched to you .
No refund will be reimbursed for shipment cost once your order has been dispatched if your wish to cancel was emailed after you received a notification that your goods have been dispatched.

Damaged/faulty items :

Whilst we pride ourselves on every bit of care and finishing detail as well as checking our items thoroughly prior to being sent out to their new home, there may very rarely be something we have missed.
If this is the case we will put this right for you so please email us immediately and send us some photos of any problem and description of a problem that may have arisen.

We will not take responsibility for items that are damaged due to neglect, wear and tear, or care instructions not being adhered to under the product description on our website.

A damaged / faulty item must be returned back to us within 14 days If you decide the item you ordered is not suitable ( and it is not a bespoke order )you will be responsible for the cost to return the item back to us.

The goods and value will be your responsibility until we receive them back from you, therefore we recommend that you insure the item for its value when dispatching.
Once we have received the item back in the original packaging we will issue a refund at the cost of the item only.

Pricing and payment :

Payment for all orders is in pounds sterling at the point of sale and not at the point of dispatch therefore the total cost of your order is the price of the item ordered plus the delivery cost.

You confirm that the payment method being used is your own.

Payment methods are subject to validation checks and authorisation of the account issuer.
If the account issuer refuses to, or does not, for any reason authorise payment to us, we will not be responsible or liable for any delay, non-delivery or cancellation of order.

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this site at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this site .
We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our discretion.
We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any item from our site.

Orders from outside the EU /EEA

If you are placing an order from outside the U.K please email us and we will give you options for delivery costs to reach your destination.

Orders placed outside the EU/ EEA  may be subject to taxes and duty on arrival at the country destination.

Please note the price for the item quoted on our website does not include these charges and we have no responsibility whatsoever relating to such extra charges of duty and/ or taxes therefore we are not liable to pay for any of these charges.
