A Gunslinger is someone who pride themselves for skill, speed, and accuracy when handling and shooting a gun.
We chose the name Gunslinger as we felt it was apt for the design.
The Gunslinger is made using thick Italian leather hand cut into a 20 mm wide band which has been folded each end over an antique brass D Ring forming fixing loops.
The loops are riveted and embossed each end with our stag head logo.
An additional 10 mm Italian leather strip is added onto the front section of the band fixed with rivets creating 5 fixed loops adorned with 5 brass polished RG 1968 spent shells. Rivets continue around the rest of the band in equal spaces.
The shells can be removed if desired to add your own items you may have found on your country walk or memorable shoot like twigs, or small antler tips, narrow stones,etc.
Square 3mm leather lacing is passed through each of the fixing loops creating an adjustable hat band to fit any size hat.
Each end of the leather lacing has a simple tied knot at each end as we felt the band had so much other detail throughout so we deliberately kept the lacing tie plain but rugged.
Overall ‘The Gunslinger’ is truly an unusual hat band and a real wow factor and will certainly be the envy of your friends.

All sizes are approximate as each individual piece is made and cut by hand.
If you do not want the adjustable tie so long simply cut with sharp scissors and re knot.
Spent Shells have been hand polished to create a shiny sheen and over time these will dull. If you like the natural aged patina then leave the shots to dull again, but if you wish to maintain a high shine then simply polish with a brass cleaner and buff.
Protect your hat band after use by storing back in the velvet pouch.
