This stunning handmade bespoke large serving tray is a gorgeous centre piece for your table or bar for all to admire. This is an ideal gift as a wedding present, engagement, housewarming, retirement, birthday, Christmas, etc for him or her.
The Skeet made with a larger percentage of gorgeous french reclaimed oak that runs horizontally on each side of the tray with spent gold coloured 12 bore shot gun cartridges running through the centre channel and due to the proportion of oak used it really does lend itself highlighting the rustic timeless blackened grain which adds interest to the buffet tray making it so charming. Both the wood and spent gold colour cartridges really compliment each other resulting in a classy centre piece for all to admire and would equally be suited in a traditional country setting as well as modern home mixing the old with the new. Cartridges are time consumingly set in rows totalling up to 100 shells (depending on how many rows) then set in black shimmered resin at the base of the tray with the final pours of epoxy resin in clear which is layered over the reclaimed oak leaving a clear glass like finish. Each horizontal edge of the tray displays the live edges which displays the sides of the cartridges. Two thick hand stitched trunk style Italian leather handles embossed with a stag head are screwed to each end of the tray with gold coloured screw covers to match the cartridge shells.
Pads are added to the base of the tray to prevent surfaces from scratching.

Handles are also available in black and screw covers also available in brushed chrome or satin black.

Care information:
Do not submerse in water.
Wipe clean with a warm soapy microfibre cloth and buff dry with a microfibre cloth.
Do not cut on board with a sharp knife as this will scratch the resin.
PLEASE NOTE:
Every Skeet is made differently and no two will ever be the same. Some may contain 12 bore shells some 20 bore, some rows of shells can be in rows of twos, three, four, and five which depends on the width of the oak as well as which shells are used.
The image illustrates skeets that have been previously made and each piece is a one off.
This keeps your purchased charcuterie platter unique to you only therefore if you have a preference please message me before placing your order
IMAGE WITH SIDE PLATE was a commissioned order using customers disused side plate but I can make these for an additional cost with one off side plates that I have or you can use your own by sending it to me.
The Skeet product like all our products are handmade and can take at least 3 -4 weeks to make from the resin layer stages to curing time.
We do however always try to keep one in stock so please message us for availability and details of that particular skeet if in stock as well as time scales.
